Kaguvi and Nehanda  dockets have been inscribed on the Memory of the World International Register.  

Zimbabwe has for the first time been listed on the Memory of the World International Register through the inscription of the Nehanda and Kaguvi mediums Judgement Dockets. The announcement was made on 9 October 2015, by the International Advisory Committee of UNESCO's Memory of the World Programme. The inscription has included Zimbabwe among 14 other African countries on the Memory of the World International Register, while the Nehanda and Kaguvi are now among the 348 world documentary heritage on the register.
